Last night, law enforcement received several swatting calls involving false threats made against multiple schools across Vermont. This included Mt. Anthony Union Middle School, Mt. Anthony Union High School, and Arlington Memorial High School. At this time, there is no known active threat to our school communities.
Out of an abundance of caution, there has been an increased presence of state and local law enforcement, as well as SVSU safety officials, at Southwest Tech today as we share a campus with Mt. Anthony Union High School. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely in partnership with local and state law enforcement.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. We will share any updates as they become available.
